Let's Get Free: The Women and Trans Prisoner Defense Committee

Let’s Get Free is an organization working to end Death by Incarceration (also known as life without parole sentencing), build a pathway out of the prisons back to our communities, support successful possibilities for people formerly and currently incarcerated, and shift to a culture of transformative justice. One of the ways we do this is through our Creative Resistance program, which uses art in a variety of media to deepen understanding and create community around this issue. We host an annual art show featuring both people inside and outside of prison.
