THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FASHION INDUSTRY
At Designers Nexus, we are here to help make the design process as “seamless” as possible for fashion designers (we couldn’t resist the pun!). We created designersnexus.com to be a central resource for free fashion design templates, fashion illustration, portfolio, & presentation examples, and fashion designer information. All of our free fashion design templates and industry resources are here to save you time, make things easier, teach, and inspire. We love being able to share our knowledge and experience with other fashion designers and hope to make being a fashion designer a little bit easier, because we know it’s not always as glamorous as it sounds!
As professional fashion designers with over 30 years of combined experience in the apparel industry, we’ve received tons of questions about the fashion industry from how to become a fashion designer, to what a fashion design portfolio should really include, tips for using fashion CAD programs, where to look for design jobs, and what skills fashion companies really expect from apparel designers – just to name a few. There is so much information out there about the fashion industry, but it’s pretty scattered and no one really knows what to look for or where to find it!
We created Designers Nexus to be a central resource for fashion industry tools and information. We work hard to make sure all of our fashion design templates are high quality, and our industry resources provide valuable information. We know this is a huge undertaking, and we appreciate your patience as we continuously collect and add resources to the site. We also welcome your feedback, comments, suggestions, and any knowledge you wish to share.
We hope you enjoy exploring our site and that you find our content helpful. Please visit our sister site at www.mypracticalskills.com for additional fashion design tools, tutorials and other products for fashion industry professionals. And don’t forget to follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, or your other favorite social media channels!
Happy Designing!
