Framezilla was concept that was dreamt up in 2001. After working in frame shops and galleries throughout the country, Amanda was inspired to open a shop of her own that would push the boundaries of custom framing. With Pittsburgh’s developing urban scene, she knew it’d be the perfect place to embrace this concept.
In 2009 she had the opportunity to open a shop called Steel City Framing with a business partner. After parting with him in 2011, she remodeled the shop, changed the name
