Presented by Office of Public Art at Hazelwood Green, Pittsburgh PA

Jul 22 2022
Write the Rivers, Hazelwood

Interested in exploring Pittsburgh’s rivers this summer? Sometimes they seem to hide in plain sight. We plan to think, write, and walk . In this guided walk-and-write tour you’ll get outside, explore city neighborhoods, and write creatively.

Writer Sherrie Flick will lead this guided hour-and-a-half writing and walking tour that uses the urban environment and rippling water for inspiration. This session will focus on a stretch of the Monongahela River and the Hazelwood neighborhood of Pittsburgh. No experience necessary—just bring your pen, paper, curiosity, and walking shoes.
