Spend an afternoon outside with Write Pittsburgh and let your writing respond to the living world.
We’ll meet in Highland Park (at the steps where Negley Avenue and Mellon Terrace meet), and our fabulous facilitator, Schereéya, will guide you through writing prompts and exercises that engage with the physical environment—the sights, sounds, textures, and emotions of being in this very specific place.
You will need:
comfortable clothes and sun protection
water (and snacks, if you wish)
something to write with (analog or digital, your choice)
a writer’s curiosity about the world around
