Tammy Ryan's Winter Playwriting Workshop Jan 19 - Feb 23

TAMMY RYAN is a resident playwright of New Dramatists.  Her award winning plays have been performed across the United States and internationally.  Works include  Lost Boy Found in Whole Foods. (Francesca Primus Prize)  Tar Beach, (Kilroy’s List) and  Molly’s Hammer, (nominated for the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize)  Locally her plays have been performed at the Pittsburgh Playhouse including Soldier’s Heart,  A Confluence of Dreaming, Baby’s Blues, FBI Girl,  and Pig. The Music Lesson, originally commissioned by Prime Stage received the AATE Distinguished New Play Award, professionally premeired at Florida Stage in 2000 and has since had over fifty productions nationwide and in Canada.  Tammy teaches playwriting at Point Park University, Duquense University and has led master classes and workshops across the country.  Her plays are available from Dramatists Play Service, Dramatic Publishing Company, Broadway Play Publishing and Playscripts.  For more information about Tammy go to: www.tammyryan.net
