This workshop will outline what artists and performing arts groups need to know to enter the touring and arts-presenting marketplace.
For an artist or performing arts group to effectively market themselves as tour-ready, they need to know certain things. They need to know about the needs and desires of different kinds of presenters, about the funding available for artists and presenters, and they need to know about presenting conferences and the best ways to approach potential presenters. This workshop will outline what artists and performing arts groups need to know to enter the touring and arts-presenting marketplace.
