We use well made (but not well known) movies to explain the screenwriting process. We stop the movie 3-4 times for a brief description of how the writer conveyed information to us. The event is free but registration is required on Eventbrite page.
We will be showing the 1959 movie Career. This movie stars Anthony Franciosa, Dean Martin and Shirley MacLaine. It provides great examples of some of the 27 different items a screenwriter must think about. The movie is also a great example of Dean Martin’s talent. Free event. Attendees are entitled to a discount to the Write Your Script class and a discount on screenwriting software.
