OPEN CALL FOR ARTISTS & COMPANIES | UNION PDX – FESTIVAL OF CONTEMPORARY DANCE

Union PDX- Festival of Contemporary Dance seeks professional dance companies and artists with a minimum of 3 years of professional choreographic experience. Regional, national, and international artists/groups from ANY dance genre or tradition with a focus on creating contemporaneous work within their form are encouraged to apply. Artist/Groups may submit up to two (2) works and works may be up to 24 minutes in length.

Selected festival artists will perform at the acclaimed Hampton Opera Center in Portland, OR, teach advanced and professional level dancers, engage with audiences through post-show Artist-Talks and facilitated Q&As, network with fellow artists, and celebrate the craft of dance during the closing Soirée. Festival participants will receive professional photographs and video of their work, and a modest stipend.
