This year’s theme is accessibility! Not every mind or body will experience art the same way, but every mind and body is entitled to the experience. What does accessibility mean to you?

Pieces should elaborate on the themes of:

Physical Accessibility (i.e: handicap, opportunity, access)

Economic Accessibility (i.e: financial burden, cost)

Knowledge accessibility (i.e: educated staff and teachers, psychological barriers)

All pieces submitted should be exhibited and/or made in a way that enables them to be more accessible to a wider range of people.

Due Dates:

  1. Submissions of application: February 14th
    2. Date to bring work to the facility: February 19th – 22nd
  • All works must involve the Accessibility theme:
    • 2D and 3D works accepted
    • Works needing unique accommodations should note this in the application

  • Be prepared to submit the following material upon application:
    • Artists’ statement on what accessibility means to them, and how the piece speaks to the theme.
    • Digital photo of completed or near-completed work, or detailed description of the finalized piece
    • Info about the piece (including names of the artist(s), title of work, mediums used, short description, email address for contact if selling, price, etc.)
