Pittsburgh Emerging Arts Leaders is looking for artwork for our upcoming Mastermind Event!
SUBMISSIONS DUE: FEBRUARY 4
Mastermind is an exhibit and panel discussion about collaboration as a driving force within the arts. Since this year’s theme is collaboration, all pieces submitted should be the result of a collaborative effort. See below for more details.
– All works must involve collaboration of two or more artists. (Incorporation of two or more mediums/styles is ideal but not required.)
-2D and 3D works accepted.
-Works needing unique accommodations should note this in the application.
-Do not feel limited to visual arts! Collaborations using inspiration from theatre, dance, music, written word, etc. are accepted.
-Pieces should complement the event’s panel discussion about collaboration in the arts and between organizations in Pittsburgh.
Be prepared to submit the following material upon application:
-Artists’ statement on collaboration
-Digital photo of completed or near-completed work
-Info about piece (including names of artists, title of work, mediums used, short description, email address for contact if selling, price, etc.)
Submissions of application: February 4th
Date to bring work to facility: February 19th & 20th
February 22nd, 2019
Opening Reception: 6pm, Panel Discussion: 7pm
Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, School Gallery, 6300 Fifth Ave
Show Runs: February 22 – April 5
