EMERGENCE: A young Choreographer's Showcase



NOISE Moves Youth Dance Festival is pleased to announce a new choreographic mentoring programmeas part of the 2018 festival. Emergence, a showcase of young emerging choreographers, will take place the weekend of the festival.

Where: RUA RED, South Dublin’s Arts Centre, Tallaght, Co. Dublin. Ireland

When: Saturday 28th April 2018

Deadline for applications: 16 November 2017 by 5:00pm

Emergence will place young choreographers in a professional mentoring programme to develop a dance piece for performance. The works will be shown on the first evening of the festival Saturday 28th April 2018. The choreographers will go through a journey of creating their own works of art to be viewed. Guided by professional Irish based choreographers: Ailish Claffey, Liz Roche and Matt Szczerek, participants will not only get a performance experience but will go through the creation process of a dance. Students of dance and recent graduates are highly encouraged to apply. Applications are due 16 November by 5:00pm.
